Established in 2007 in Bulgaria by Martin Ivanov, Te Amo is a brand of high quality herbal teas. The company introduces a new way of preserving and processing the herbs that conserves all of the plants’ qualities resulting in a product that is 100% organic with a huge positive impact on people’s health and overall well-being.
For generations and generations Ivanov’s family has been collecting and processing all kinds of herbs and plants using them to prepare potions, medicines and herbal teas. A strong family tradition and lots of knowledge which shouldn’t be lost – that’s the reason behind the founding of Te Amo. A heritage, survived through time, brought to live in a new modern shape – Te Amo herbal teas.
The name comes from Spanish – Ivanov was living in Spain for 7 years where he was inspired by the local people to make this important decision to come back to Bulgaria and continue his legacy.

The Logo Concept
Based on the direction Mr Ivanov has given to us we came with a concept for the logo. The idea in the icon was to present intimate and cosy mood, at the same time it had to look classy, luxury and elegant, and still be associated with tea.
In Te Amo’s logo concept we combine the intimacy of chocolate, the charm of the coffee and the spirit of the herbal tea. With other words combination of test, smell and spirit.

• Needs to move away from the mindset beeng a manifacturer and see Te Amo as limited edition-personal.
• Te Amo needs to be solid, but luxury and elegant, conveying the current market-driven nature of tea business, but also communicating the trusthworthness and dependebility of an old company with long traditions. Needs to position them well against competitors such as: TWG, Art of Zayne, Zealong, Te. Also prove that Te Amo is about the intimate atmosphere created by the richness of the taste and the elevation of the spirit by satisfying the sensesthe with the compleixity of the aroma (preserved by the special way of drying of the tea).

Based on research Metaka Art Studio developed and refined a concept for tea package. While most of the tea brands use common colours and shapes we decided to take a step forward. It wasn’t enought package to be good – it had to stand out.
